Mount Linux raid member

Say /dev/sda1 was a member of a Linux raid on a different system.

  1. Create a new raid volume md0 using sda1 as a member
    sudo mdadm -A -R /dev/md0 /dev/sda1

  2. Now now mount  /dev/md0
    sudo mount /dev/md0 /mnt/old_hdd/
